ANNETTA -- Lloyd Chapman, 77, went to be with the Lord, Monday, April 2, 2012, surrounded by family in Weatherford. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: Annetta Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Lloyd Wayland Chapman was born Jan. 28, 1935, in Annetta, son of the late Chandler William and Gladys Viannah Withers Chapman. He married Vearl Dean Kirk on Dec. 4, 1959. Lloyd was saved as a young boy and always believed you should let others see Jesus in you. He loved the Lord and enjoyed church. Through the years he served as Sunday School Superintendent, trustee and many years as Deacon. He loved to sing but also loved to lead the singing. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Delma Chapman; and two nieces. Survivors: Wife of 52 years, Vearl Chapman of Annetta; daughter, Stephanie Soap and husband, Karl, of Annetta; brother, Edward Chapman and wife, Dolores, of Weatherford; sister-in-law, Alice Chapman; two nieces, Connie Petro and husband, Ken, of Sweeny, and Catherian Abbott and husband, Rick, of Weatherford; great-nephew, Chandler Easter; great-nieces, Viannah Ahouri and husband, Yazan, of Michigan and Hannah Easter; great-great-nieces, Sophia Ahouri and Alice Easter; and a host of loving friends.
