Patricia Hazel Porter

Patricia Hazel Porter, 70, a retired hospice nurse, passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012. 

Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. 

Interment: East Greenwood Cemetery. 

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

 Patricia Porter was born July 4, 1941, daughter of the late A.D. and Corabelle McGarry Preston, in Chicago, Ill. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. 

Patricia was preceded in death by husbands, Marshall Mitcham, John Reed and Elroy Weeks; grandchild, Cooper Jamison Mitcham; and brothers, Michael Preston and John Preston. 

Survivors: Husband, Fred Porter of Granbury; children, Scott Mitcham and wife, Thelma, of Mineral Wells, Steve Mitcham and wife, Darlene, of Granbury, Luke Reed and wife, Kayla, of Granbury, and Karen Wheeler and husband, Gary, of Mineral Wells; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, A.D. Preston III and Daniel Preston; and sisters, Jacqueline Wortman and Jane Murray.
