Shannon Belle Jernigan Crawford

Shannon Jernigan Crawford of 1308 Pamela Drive, Weatherford, TX, age 78, passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 at her home. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 on Wednesday, February 15th at Shady Grove Baptist Church in DeBerry, TX. Shannon was born August 24, 1933 in Carthage, Texas. She graduated from Minden High School in Louisiana in 1951 and attended Business School in Shreveport from 1952-1953. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lorene & Leuell Jernigan, and her daughter, Sandra Kay Forbes, and grandson, Kelly Anson Caudle. She is survived by sisters, Jerri Jernigan, Carole Jernigan Govan and husband, Chip; brothers, Leuell Curtis Jernigan and wife, Cecilia; W. Keith Jernigan and wife, Cheryl; daughter, Rebecca Crawford Maris and husband, Dewey; Grandchildren, Anthony Kevin Caudle, Kimberly Forbes Williams, and Tracie Michelle Forbes; Chris Maris, Jennifer Maris Sproat and husband, Michael; Angela Kay Klutts and husband, Ben; great grandson, Micah Tyler Sproat and great granddaughter, Emily Klutts; She is also survived by four nieces and four nephews.White's Funeral Home in Weatherford will prepare and transport her to Hawthorn Funeral Home in Carthage, Texas.
