Roy Lawrence South, 81, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012 with his family by his side.Service: 10:30 A.M. Saturday at White's Azle Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at White's Azle Funeral Home.Roy was born August 16, 1930 in Springtown to Joseph And Stella Bosworth South. He was a long time resident of North Texas. Roy was one of the original founders of the Turtle Club Rodeo Association. He was a great sports enthusiast and dearly loved his family and friends. Survivors: four sons; four daughters; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother; also many nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances.
