Mark was born in Modesto, CA in 1923 and served his country in the Merchant Marines during WW II. After the war, Mark and his family moved to Stockton CA where he built homes. He then worked with the FHA and was transferred to Ft. Worth in the early 1960s and built two homes. As a GS-13, he was an architectural adviser and inspector of multi-family housing in 8 states until he bought Twin Points Resort in 1967 on Eagle Mt. Lake. He then moved to Mission and built and developed subdivisions, condos, RV parks, and apartments until 1989. He returned to Azle TX and built 3 homes. Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Kaiser Schmidt; father, Mark Twain Andrews Sr.; sisters, Lovell Flick, Violet Daniels, and Floriene Strevor; son, Mark Wade Andrews; and daughter, Genny McDaniel. Survivors: loving wife, Mary S. Andrews; sister, Nellie Cabral of CA,; daughters, Marlia Willette and husband, John of CA, Darlia Hobbs and husband, Bobby, Dale Fitch and husband, Allen, Candy Ferarro, & Dana Curry and husband, Danny all of TX, Rose Sandoval of FL, Blanca Ramirez and family of MD; son, Walter Sitarek and family of MD.; also 23 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
