Clara Belle Wright

WEATHERFORD -- On Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, our sweet mother, devoted wife and friend, Clara Belle Wright, went home to walk with Jesus. Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday at Central Christian Church, 1602 S. Main St., Weatherford. Interment: Veal's Station Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Central Christian Church. Clara Belle Haley Wright, 89 years of age, was born Jan. 11, 1923, to Charles and Stella Rose Haley of Bluff Springs. A special place is held in our family's heart for the Denzil Wright and Gladys Wright Gilley families for setting the example of devoted home care; Central Christian Church and its members for its unfailing commitment to spiritual care in the home; and most special and faithful visitors and friends, Joe Lee and Charles Simmons. Clara was preceded in death by her four brothers and sister, Verla Haley, Lawrence Haley, Marie Erickson, Arnold Haley and R.A. Haley. Survivors: Her husband of 69 years, Norvin Wright of Weatherford; daughters, Norlene Carter and husband, Mike Carter, of Weatherford and Twana Connors and husband, Earl Connors, of Lake Saint Louis, Mo.; granddaughters, Beth Robertson of Austin and Valerie Frangesch of Lake Saint Louis, Mo.; her friends and selfless caregivers over the past six years, Lora Kubena, Elvira Meza, Tonya Smith, Cindy Riedel, Elizabeth Williams, Rebecca Buller and Elizabeth McGuire; and her "son," Rolando Santa Maria of Mullen.
