Joy Brazzil, 76, loving mother, grandmother and friend passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 in Grapevine. Services will be private. Joy was born July 20, 1935 to the late William and Euna Mae Stewart in Fort Worth. She loved gospel music, traveling and playing the piano. Joy played the piano at Shepherd Drive Baptist Church in Euless where she was a member. She liked arts and crafts and activities that were held at the Euless and Azle Senior Centers. Joy grew up in Fort Worth and had lived in Azle for about five years before moving to Euless last year. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Brazzil, Sr.; son, Charles Brazzil, Jr.; granddaughter, Delaina Nichols; daughter, Marsha Gilley; sister, Dorothy; and brother, Durwood Stewart. Survivors: Son, Curtis Brazzil and Thersa; daughter, Debbie Stanfield and Nick; grandchildren, John Stanfield and Emily, Monica Stanfield, Alan Brazzil and Jackie, Joy Gilley, Frances Carson and Brian and Brandi Brazzil; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Jo Haynes and Charles and Louise Crosby; and a host of family members and friends.
