MILLSAP -- Joseph Harold Lloyd "Hack" Presser, 64, a resident of Millsap for 13 years, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, surrounded by family in Mineral Wells. Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 108 N.W. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells, officiated by Father Balaji Boyalla. Interment: 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at White's Funeral Home, 101 N.E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells, where a Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m, presided over by Father Jeff Poirot. Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances, the Presser family suggests contributions in Joe's memory to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Joseph Presser was born May 23, 1947, in Covington, Ky., son of Paul Harold Lloyd and Audrey Pearl Marksbery Presser. He dedicated more than 20 years of his life to the United States Air Force and honorably retired in 1987. Joe met the former Nickie Ortiz while stationed in Virginia at the Pentagon and they married in September 1977 in Weatherford. Joe loved to read, loved science fiction, and enjoyed being outdoors. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and absolutely lived for his grandkids. Joe was a faithful member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Weatherford and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Mineral Wells. Joseph was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors: Wife of 34 years, Nickie Presser of Millsap; children, Tony Belk of Millsap, Isaac Belk of St. Petersburg, Fla., Tomasa Waller of Haymarket, Va., and Natasha Presser-Howard and husband, Jeremiah, of Millsap; grandchildren, Kirsten Cape and husband, Cory, of Clearwater, Fla., Matthew Belk of Millsap, Jason, Brandon, and Kayla Waller all of Haymarket, Va., Anita Presser, Joseph Howard, and William Howard, all of Millsap; great-grandson, Arkarian Spirek of Clearwater, Fla.; siblings, Chris Pierce, Leanna Leben, Jan Dombrow, Audie King, Curt Presser, Doug Presser, Matt Presser, Tyler Presser and Patrick Presser; numerous step-brothers, step-sisters, nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
