Gilbert Lee "Gib" Marshall, 72, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, at his home in Azle.A gathering will be held at the Marshall home 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 14, 2012. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to SmileTrain, PO Box 96208, Washington, DC 20090-6208.Gilbert L. Marshall was born March 12, 1939, in DuBois, Pa. son of the late Viola Marie Gibson and Paul Andrew Marshall. Gib married the former Susan Reinhardt Goettel on July 20, 1990, in Mineral Wells and they began their life together. He made his career as an engineer in the electronic components field.Gib was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul Andrew Marshall, Jr. and Eugene Marshall.Survivors: Wife of 21 years, Susan Marshall of Azle; sons, Timothy Marshall of San Diego Calif., Aaron Herbert Marshall of Wichita Falls and Roger Marshall and wife, Julie of Garland; daughter, Crystal Lee Bowling and husband, Hank of Grapevine; stepson, Joseph Goettel and wife, Margaret of Weatherford; grandchildren, Ian Marshall, Sean Marshall and Geoffrey Marshall; step-grandchildren, Kaedan, Payton, Sidney, Kelly, and Kevin; sister, Mary Kay Marshall; and a host of family and friends.
