Bobby D. Jenkins, 70, passed away Monday, January 9, 2012. Funeral: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 in White's Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Friday at White's Funeral Home.Bobby D. Jenkins was born July 4, 1941 in Weatherford, son of the late Harold and Pat Smart Jenkins. He was a native of Weatherford, graduating from Weatherford High School. Bobby graduated from Texas A&M with his Bachelor's Degree and Adams State College with his Master's Degree. He was an avid football fan, an ardent supporter of Texas A&M University, and enjoyed traveling. Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Emma Dean Chenoweth.Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Dorcas Jenkins; sons, Dee Jenkins and wife, Ana of Austin and Dane Jenkins of Houston; grandchildren, Didi and Robbie of Austin.
