Donald Glen Sharp

Glen Sharp, 63, passed away at his Springtown home on Monday, Dec. 19, 2011 after a long illness. Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday, at Hilltop Family Church, 1227 Old Cottondale Rd, Springtown. Interment: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home, 401 N. Main St., Springtown.Don was born March 25, 1948 in Purcell OK. He moved from Fort Worth in 1962 and lived in Springtown for the rest of his life. Paralyzed at the age of 19, Don was an inspiration to all who knew him for his courage. He always had humor and a love for life. We all loved him and will miss him so very much and never forget the love he shared with us and the lesson of staying strong.Don was preceded in death by his father, Julius (J. D.)
