Douglas Hargis, 73, passed away, Sunday, December 18, 2011. Services: 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 21 at White's Chapel of Memories. Interment following at Memory Gardens of the Valley. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Doug was born April 4, 1938 in El Dorado, AR to Earl and Jessie Hargis. He was a long time resident of Weatherford. Doug was an avid fisherman and enjoyed every day of his life. Doug was predeceased by his parents; wife, Linda Kaye; and a brother. Survivors: son, Jeff Hargis and wife, Connie of Weatherford; grandson, Jordan Hargis of Weatherford; sister-in-law, Diane Hyatt and husband, Gary; sister, Gwen Greene; granddaughters, Mindy, Tammy, and Jennifer; niece, Cari Slovak; and nephew, Glen Hyatt.
