Roby -- Florence Goodloe James Pearson, 90, passed away Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, in Sweetwater. Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford. Interment: Poolville Cemetery. Visitation: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, Flo's family suggests contributions in her memory to Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011. Known as "Flo" to all of her friends and relatives, she was born Sept. 29, 1921, in Parker County, the youngest of five children to the late Henry and Blanche Ross Goodloe. Flo's life was filled with a passion for music since her childhood. She began playing the piano at a very early age and eventually entertained many, many people from Dallas to Mineral Wells with her former husband, Rayburn James. Flo was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Blanche Goodloe; brother, Bennett Goodloe; three sisters, Louise Phillips, Marie Boyd and Eunice Drake; and two husbands, Carl Billingsley and Rayburn James. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Marshall and Elizabeth Billingsley of Roby; two granddaughters and husbands, Margaret and Andy Epley of Big Spring and Martha and Jim Blanton of Roby; eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; husband, Wyman Pearson of Weatherford; and a host of loving family and friends.
