WEATHERFORD -- Austin Gullett, 81, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, surrounded by family at his residence. Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Dennis, 7600 FM 1189, Lipan. Interment: Annetta Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Henry Austin Gullett was born Aug. 30, 1930, in Malvern, Ark., son of the late Ben Henry and Rosie Butler Gullett. Austin owned and operated Gullett's Old Fashioned Meat Market on the west side of Fort Worth for 22 years where he loved to cut meat and serve his customers. He was absolutely loved by all who knew him. Austin loved to be outdoors, work in his garden and drive his John Deere tractor. His true love, however, was his family. Austin was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, J.D. and Melton Gullett; sister, Nora Lee Davis; and a great-granddaughter, Breanna Madey. Survivors: Wife of 61 years, Jean Gullett of Weatherford; daughters, Linda Eckles and husband, David, of Fort Worth, Sharon Bronaugh and husband, Gary, of Weatherford, Angie Brown and husband, Jim, of North Richland Hills and Beverly Allen of Weatherford; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Christine Henson and husband, Bill, of Mustang, Okla.; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
