Era Mae Towles

Era Mae Towles, 84, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Funeral: 1:30 p.m., Friday at White's Chapel of Memories. Interment: Center Point Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Era Mae "Tootsie" Towles was born May 6, 1927 the daughter of Nathan and Pearl Brewer in Weatherford. She was a long time resident of Parker County. Her later years have been spent at Crescent Senior Care with loving people whom she loved and who loved her. Mrs. Towles was an avid cook. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. Era was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; one brother; and a sister. Survivors: sons, Kenneth Towles and wife, Elaine of Aledo and Ron Towles and wife, Connie of Mansfield; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many friends and acquaintances.
