Dorothy Louise Howell, 86, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2011, at her home, surrounded by loved ones.Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Hilltop Family Church, 1227 Old Cottondale Road, Springtown. Main Street, SpringtownDorothy was born on May 5, 1925 to Ernest M. and Charlcy Bell Brawley in Littlefield. She was a longtime resident of Springtown. Dorothy was a great business woman, she owned and operated Howell's Western Cafe for 50 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Claude; her brother, Jimmy; and grandson, Brad.Survivors: daughters, Linda Grimes and husband, Todd, of Azle, Sandra Ault and husband, Norman, of Arkansas, Shirley Fletcher and husband, Dan, of Springtown; son, Ronny Howell and wife, Pam, of Springtown; sister, Doris Dunlap and husband, Marvin, of Springtown; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and acquaintances.
