Virginia Rose Robertson

Virginia R. Robertson, 82, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday at Grace Baptist Church. 171 CR 4797 Boyd, Texas. Interment: Opal Cemetery Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home 401 N. Main St., Springtown. Virginia was born November 13, 1928 in Fort Worth to Arthur Franklin and Etta Mae Smith Brown. She was a lontime resident of Springtown. Virginia was an avid gardner, she loved humming birds. Virginia was a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Robertson of 54 years in August 2003. Survivors: Sam W. Robertson Jr. (Gail) daughters, Alena Mae Bays (Harold) and Virginia Glen Miller (Bob); sisters, Lorraine Barclay and Lillie Mae Shannon; also numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and precious dogs.
