Margaret Loraine Baker, 84, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Friday, October 7, 2011.Funeral: 9:00 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2011 at White's Funeral Home Chapel, 401 N. Main Street, SpringtownInurnment: Dido Cemetery at a later date.Visitation: 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.Margaret was born November 14, 1926 to William Curtis and Goldie Bell Palmer Helm in Newark. She was a member of the Parker County Cruisers. Margaret loved being with her husband K. H. and the race horses. She enjoyed watching her children as contestants in rodeos. Margaret was a member of the Baptist church and faithfully worshipped the Lord. She was always willing to help those less fortunate. Margaret loved to crochet, sew and travel, as well as cooking for her family.She was preceded in death by her husband, K. H. Baker; son, Kenneth Hughes Baker, Jr.; her parents; brother, William Curtis Helm, Jr.; and sister, Mildred Agnes Lytle.Survivors: daughter, Sandra Howeth and husband, Joe, of White Settlement; son, George Baker and wife, Amy, of Springtown; grandchildren, Kelli Smith and husband, Kevon, Tonya Powell and husband, Jeff, Linde Deann Russell and husband, Mark, George Douglas Baker and wife, Shanea and Margaret Michelle Baker; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Dell Baker and husband, Royce, of Azle; numerous nieces and nephews.
