James Ralph Loyd

James Ralph Loyd, 76, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at his residence in Azle with his family by his side. Service: 10:00 A.M. Friday at White's Azle Chapel. Interment: Concord Cemetery, Hughes Springs. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Ralph was born September 20, 1935 in Hughes Springs to Edgar and Myrtle Smith Loyd. He was a longtime resident of Azle. Ralph enjoyed his family, the outdoors and being with his friends at the coffee shop. He also liked to feed the wildlife around his home. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; a son; four brothers; and three sisters. Survivors: wife of 52 years, Betty Loyd of Azle; daughter, Andrea Van Kleeck of Azle; grandchildren, Bethany Rogers and husband, Brad of Fort Worth, Justin, Lacey and Ethan; also numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
