MINERAL WELLS -- Henry O. Valliere aged 82 years of Mineral Wells, passed away Monday morning after a long Illness. Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 108 N.W. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells. Father Matthew Sanka will preside. Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. with rosary recited at 7 p.m. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the Valliere family suggests consideration of donations to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75231. Henry was born Nov. 7, 1928, in New Bedford, Mass. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Theresa Hebert Valliere. They were married in Sacred Heart church of New Bedford, Mass., on Jan. 5, 1951. Mr. Valliere proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged from the service after twenty years. He immediately went to work for Perry Equipment Company of Mineral Wells until retirement 20 years later. He was a gifted woodworker and loved to fish in his spare time. He was active in the Our Lady of Lourdes Knights of Columbus were he served as Grand Knight and District Deputy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Valliere and Irene St. Amand Valliere; brothers, Henry D. Valliere, Rene Valliere, Leo Valliere, Roland Valliere, Emile Valliere, and sisters, Alice Valliere Fournier, and Nancy Valliere Morey. Survivors: His wife, Theresa Valliere; sisters, Rose Valliere Wood of Colchester, Conn., Carol Valliere Sprague and husband, Charlie Sprague, of Hope Valley, R.I., Janice Valliere Burke and husband, Duke Burke, of Hebron, Conn.; daughter, Kathleen A. Valliere of Mineral Wells; son, Henry M. Valliere and wife, Robin Williamson Valliere; son, Robert D. Valliere and wife, Sandy Johnston Valliere, of Alvarado; son, Daniel J. Valliere and wife, Patricia Gaston Valliere, of Azle; daughter, Linda M. Lee and husband, Gary Lee, of Mineral Wells. He is also survived by grandchildren, Valerie Boyd and spouse, Jennifer Valliere, Henry J. Valliere, Amanda Richardson and spouse, Jeremy Richardson and spouse, Brandi Lee and Justyn Lee.
