Ervin Eugene Miller

Ervin Eugene Miller, 75, passed away Friday July 15, 2011 at his home with his family by his side. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Windmill Church of Christ, 4839 Tin Top Road, Weatherford. Interment: Tin Top Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home. Ervin was born Dec. 7, 1935, son of Ervin Taft and Pauline Mason Miller, in Waurika, Okla. After his service in the U.S. Navy he worked in the oil and gas business for 45 years. He later built and was partners in three Sand Plants, including managing Hood County Sand. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: His wife of 48 years, Carolyn Sue Miller; son, Wesley Taft Miller and wife, Shylo; daughters, Sharon Carroll and husband, Clint, Karen Michelle Miller all of Weatherford; sisters, Neta Sue Morris and husband, Bob, of Waurika, Okla., Joyce Ellis and husband, Larry, of Nacogdoches; grandchildren, Stephen Miller, Steven Gabaldon, Linda Armstrong and husband, Corey, Jennifer Carroll, Erica Miller, Alica Carroll, Kaitlyn Hutchings and Brittany McCollum; great-grandchildren, Caden Paredes, Abram Shaw; many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
