Virginia G. Jones

Virginia "Gerry" Jones, 87, loving mother and grandmother passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in Fort Worth. Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. Saturday at Birdville Baptist Church, 3141 Carson Street, Haltom City 76117. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Virginia was born Virginia G. Aday, December 5, 1923. She has called North Points her home for the past six years. Gerry was a long time Azle resident and was an active member of Silver Creek United Methodist Church in Azle. Since the passing of her husband, David, she has been a member of Birdville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David; granddaughter, Dianna; and many other family members. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Survivors: daughter, Betty Hamilton and husband, Charles; granddaughters, Donna and husband, Curtis, and Sharon; great-grandchildren, Russell and wife, Bethany, Jill and husband, Jim and Christopher. Virginia was looking forward to being a great-great-grandmother this summer with two granddaughters on the way.
