Sandra Lanier Bailey

Sandra Lanier Bailey, 90, of Weatherford and formerly of Odessa, passed away Wednesday March 23, 2011 after a long illness. A private inurnment service will be held in Ector County Cemetery in Odessa.Sandra was born March 28, 1920, in Waxahachie, to Otis and Adeline Graves Lanier. She was a housewife and an assistant manager for Furr's Cafeterias in Odessa. Preceding her in death were her husband, Bert E. Bailey of Odessa; a sister, Frances Davisson; brothers Hubert Otis Lanier, Buford Lanier and Winfield Lanier. She is survived by her children: Wayne Bailey of Richardson; Jerry Bailey of Coppell; Sandra Corse of Goodlettsville, Tennessee; and Susan Baer of Weatherford. She is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
