Katie Catherine Allmon

Katie Allmon, 89, a lifelong resident of Azle passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011. 

Graveside Services: 2:00, Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Ash Creek Cemetery.

 Visitation: Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 at White's Funeral Home. 

Katie was born to W.J. and Nevile Porter, August 29, 1922 in Azle. She was an avid gardener and loved her chickens. Her dog Cleo was the pride of her life. 

Katie was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil E. Allmon, parents, and seven siblings. 

Survivors: sons, Roger and Cecil; daughters, Mary Brasher and husband Chris of Azle, and Shirley Brasher of Azle; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and acquaintances.
