William Edward "Ed" White, 72, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2011 at a local hospital. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at White's Springtown Chapel, 401 N. Main St. Interment: Annis Chapel Cemetery In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Fisherfoundation.org. Ed was born July 31, 1938 to Katy Bell and Sylvester White in Kellogg, Idaho. He was a longtime resident of Springtown. Ed was an avid reader and story teller. He was married to the love of his life, Alvin, for 31 years. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Alvin, a brother and a sister. Survivors: son, William Edward "Ed" White and wife, Cindy, of Humble; daughter, Dora Miller and husband, Darrell, of Springtown; brother, Henry White and wife, Billie Ruth, of Paducah; sisters, Melba Jo White of Springtown and Katie Williams and husband, Freddy, of Springtown; grandchildren, Austen, Ryan, Alicia and James.
