Katherine Elizabeth Collins

Katherine Elizabeth Collins, 88, departed this life to be with her heavenly father Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, in Azle. 

Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday at White's Funeral Chapel, 401 N. Main St., Springtown. 

Entombment: Azleland Mausoleum.

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

 Katherine was born Oct. 4, 1922, in Duke, Okla., the tenth of 14 children. She loved to play dominoes, board games, and word find puzzles. When she was outside, Katherine would always tend to her roses. Katherine lived in the Springtown area for 14 years after moving from Azle. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Collins; son, Donald Collins; parents; and ten siblings.

Survivors: Son, Thomas Collins of Azle; daughter, Barbara Sexton and husband, Brian, of Springtown; grandchildren, Brandie Aschmeyer and husband, Robert, Jason Sexton, Josh Sexton and wife, Bambi, Jeff Collins and Kimberly Collins; great-grandchildren, Parker Aschmeyer, Drew Sexton, Bailee Sexton, Austin Sexton, Dalton Aschmeyer and Cooper Sexton; brothers, Fred Burrow, Earl Burrow and Glenn Burrow; and a host of loving family and friends.
