Bonnie Crowder, 62, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, surrounded by family in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Friday in Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Chapel, 401 N. Main St., Springtown. Memorials: The Crowder family suggests contributions in Bonnie's name, in lieu of usual remembrances, to National Kidney Foundation, Inc., 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016. Bonnie Mae Crowder was born Feb. 5, 1948, in Griffin, Ga., daughter of the late Harry K. and Wyomia Nadine Mercer Parker. She owned and operated her own insurance agency, Trucks and More, in Dallas for many years before moving to Paradise a year and a half ago. Bonnie like to crochet and knit and loved to bowl in leagues. Her Chihuahua, Seymour, was her best friend. Bonnie was a member of First Baptist Church of Cottondale. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Crowder; parents; sister; and a brother. Survivors: Brothers, Bruce T. Parker Sr. and wife, Sue, and Robert Parker, all of Paradise; nieces and nephews, Bruce Parker Jr., Victoria Johnson, Jammie McDavid, James Roy Parker, Crystal Parker, Carrie Smith, and Mark Smith; and a host of loving family and friends.
