Michael H Spurlock

Michael H. Spurlock, 60, passed away Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, in Mineral Wells.

 Graveside service: 12:45 p.m. Friday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas. 

Visitation: 8 a.m.to 4 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home, 101 N.E. 4th Avenue, Mineral Wells. 

Michael Spurlock was born Nov. 1, 1949, in Mineral Wells, son of Harold T. and Dorothy C. Putman Spurlock. He was a lifetime resident of Mineral Wells and had a great interest in rodeos, the wild west and camping. Mr. Spurlock honorably served his country in Vietnam and would have wanted to acknowledge his fellow veterans and the VFW. 

Michael was preceded in death by his father and a brother. 

Survivors: Wife, Polly Spurlock of Mineral Wells; mother, Cooz Spurlock; sons, John Spurlock and Brandon Williamson; daughters, Raina Williamson, Cheri Sample; children Chris Duchene, Jesse Stevens, and Trena Coffee; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Allen Spurlock and wife, June, of Mineral Wells, Sam Spurlock and wife, Becky, of Olney, and Tom Spurlock of Perrin; and a host of loving family and friends.
