Idella Kathlyn Edwards, 81, passed away Monday, October 18, 2010 in Decatur. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 21 at The First Baptist Church of Briar. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, October 20th at White's Azle Funeral Home. As a breast cancer survivor contributions may be made in Idella's name to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Ste.,250, Dallas, TX 75244. Idella was born March 19, 1929 in Berryville, Ark. to Benjamin Harrison and Cora Lewis Pinkley. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Briar for 50 years. Idella was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and two sisters. Survivors: husband of 63 years, Robert Edwards of Azle; sons, Robert Edwards and wife, Betty of Azle, Billy Edwards and fiance, Denise Zoeller of Azle, Tony Edwards and wife, Connie of Azle; daughters, Acqua Edwards of Azle and Kaye Kimball and husband, Randy of Keller; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
