Jerry Wayne Torbett

Jerry Wayne Torbett, 53, passed away Sunday, September 26 in Weatherford. A memorial service will be held 10:30, Thursday, September 30 at Hilltop Baptist Church Annex. Jerry was born June 30, 1957 in Weatherford to Don and Emma Jo Torbett. He attended Weatherford schools for eleven years and graduated from Peaster High School in 1975. Jerry began an avid interest in riding bulls while in high school. He went on to work for multiple rodeo companies throughout the nation. Survivors: father, Don Torbett; sisters, Donna Montgomery and Vickie Sherman and husband, Don all of Weatherford; nieces, Afton, Brooke, and Adrianne; nephew, Blake; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be to a memorial fund at First Financial Bank in Weatherford.
