Michael Layne

Michael John Layne, age 53, joined our heavenly Father on Thursday, September 23, 2010 with his beloved by his side, after a brief illness at his home. Memorial Service: 1:00 P.M. Friday at White's Funeral Home Chapel in Azle. Faustino Galvan will officiate. Michael was born and raised in Michigan. He was the second oldest of five brothers, a graduate of Catholic Central High School, class of 1975, in Grand Rapids, Michigan and alumni of Michigan State University before relocating to Texas in the early 1980's. He was a former employee of Universal Forest Products. Named after his great-grandfather, Michael was predeceased by his grand-parents, Clifford and Marie Mayotte, William and Julia Layne, his mother, Shirley (Mayotte) and his father, William, all of Marquette, MI.Michael touched lives of many people with his generosity and wiliness to lend a hand to those in need. All those who knew and loved him will surely miss him.Michael is survived by his beloved, Judy Teague of Fort Worth, brothers: Patrick (Sherry) of Novato, CA; Timothy (Laura) of Grand Rapids, MI; Terry (LuAnn) of Naperville, IL and Chris (Rhonda) of Traverse City, MI, also, his two nieces, Gabrielle and Alexandra, nephew, Jason and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
