Walter B. Morio

Walter B. Morio, 89, passed away peacefully Monday, September 20, 2010, in Azle.

 Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 24 in White's Azle Chapel. 

Interment: 3:00 P.M. Friday in the City of Killeen Cemetery in Killeen. 

Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at White's Azle Funeral Home.

Walter was born July 14, 1921 in Mariners Harbor, Staten Island, New York to John and Theresa McNamara Morio. He was a longtime resident of Killeen and Fort Worth. Walter was an avid golfer, and very active in his church. He honorably served his country in the United States Army for 21 years.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 40 years, Helen; sisters, Margaret and Eleanor; brothers, Carl and Edward; son, Douglas and daughter, Charlene.

Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Delvin Aaron of Fort Worth; son-in-law, Terence Bass of Wyoming; granddaughter, Katy Bass of Wyoming; sister, Ann McDonald of New Jersey; brothers, Joseph Morio, Sr of New York and John Morio of Arizona; also, numerous nieces and nephews.
