Lucy Fowler Phelan

Lucy Fowler Phelan, 86, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed peacefully from this world Saturday, August 14, 2010.

Graveside Service: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 18 at Ash Creek Cemetery. 

Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, August 17 at White's Azle Funeral Home.

Lucy was born Oct. 8, 1923 in Stanford. She was a longtime resident of Azle. Lucy was an avid gardener and could grow almost anything. The love of her life was her family. She was a member of the Azle Christian Church and a caregiver to all.

 Lucy was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Franklin "Cotton" Fowler; second husband, Tracy Phelan; and daughter, Louise Weldon

.Survivors: son, Johnny Fowler and wife, Charlene; grandchildren, Mike Fowler and wife, Amanda and Linda Johnson; great-grandchildren, Colby, Cayden and Sara.
