Francis Edward BeVier

Francis BeVier, 81, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010. Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home. Francis Edward BeVier, Jr. was born in Springfield, MO, son of the late Francis and Louise Tuttle BeVier. Mr. BeVier was a long time resident of Weatherford. Francis loved his family and pets greatly. He found great pleasure in building beautiful churches and schools throughout the nation. Francis had a great skill in the simple use of "Divining Rods". He served his country honorably during the Korean Conflict. Mr. BeVier was a life-long Presbyterian and enjoyed playing the trumpet in the Boy Scout Band. Survivors include, wife, Betty BeVier of Weatherford; daughters, Laurie Levorsen and husband, Mark of Colorado, Cindy Hodges of California; grandchildren, Hannah and Drew Levorsen; sister, Helen Bredesen and husband, Brad of Missouri; nephew, Karsten Bredesen; and numerous friends and acquaintances.
