Buddy Lester Chapman

Buddy L. Chapman, 70, loving father, brother and uncle, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010, at a local care center.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 14th at White's Funeral Home Chapel, 401 N. Main St., Springtown.

Interment: Springtown Cemetery.

Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 13th at White's Funeral Home.

Buddy was born February 3, 1940 to James R. and Juanita Bobo Chapman in Springtown. He was a longtime resident of Springtown. Buddy loved to race cars, fish and play pool. He was an avid football player and fan.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors: Son, Jerry Rae Chapman and wife, Joanie, of Fort Worth; sister, Mildred Strowd and husband, James; niece, Teresa Decker and husband, Gary; nephew, Jimmy Strowd, all of Springtown; and a host of friends and acquaintances.
