Edna Lee Watkins, 87, went home to be with our Lord on Monday, May 31, 2010. Service: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, at White's Azle Chapel. Visitation: 8:30 until service time. Interment: Erwin Community Cemetery. Edna Lee Watkins was born April 15, 1926 in Gans, Okla. to Edward Newton and Drusiller Mattingly Sutherland. She was a longtimeresident of Azle. Edna was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to crochet and do needlework. Edna was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and two sisters. Survivors: son, James Hart and wife, Joy of Fort Worth; sister,Minnie Bell Ginther of Colo.; granddaughter, Angela Walker andhusband, Andy of Saginaw; great-granddaughter, Ashlyn; numerousstep-grandchildren; step great-grandchildren; and several niecesand nephews.
