Randell Buren Townley, 51, of Reno died in his sleep at home, Thursday, May 20, 2010. Funeral: 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Vine Life United Pentecostal Church on Hwy 144 South in Glen Rose. Interment to follow in the Morgan Cemetery, Morgan, Texas. Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday at White's Funeral Home in Azle. Randell was born in Meridian on September 28, 1958 to R.T. and Wilma Townley. He was the youngest of nine children. He grew up in Walnut Springs, Meridian, and Glen Rose. He attended Walnut Springs High School. Randell started working for Brown and Root at the age of 18. He worked there for 14 years. He also worked at the Comanche Peak Power Plant as a security guard for 5 years. He was a truck driver and equipment operator in the Ft. Worth area for 15 years. Randell loved his family, friends and his dog, Thumper. He liked living in the country and raising miniature donkeys and other farm animals. He liked to hunt, fish, and play gospel music. He was loved and respected by all that knew him. He will be remembered for his kindness and sense of humor. Randell was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: wife, Carolyn Townley; daughters, Kerri Morris and husband, Ralph, Amber Bentley and husband, Mike; grand-daughters, Aubrey, Katelyn, and Camryn; brothers, Kenneth and wife, Connie, Robert and wife, Cindy, Daniel and wife Carla; sisters, Carolyn Douglas and husband Pat, Shirley Mason, Mildred Aikman and husband, Lonnie, Janett Aikman and husband, Oannie, Barbara Bourquin and husband, Mike.
