Virgie Mable Leatherman

Virgie M. Leatherman, 97, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010 in Mineral Wells. 

Services: 10 am, Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Whites Funeral Home, 103 Houston Avenue, Weatherford.

 Interment: Woodland Park Cemetery, Mineral Wells. 

Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday at Whites Funeral Home. 

Virgie was born January 18, 1913 and lived in Millsap since 1950.

 Virgie was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Leatherman; son, Donald Leatherman by 26 hours; daughter, Betty Wright; and grandson, Terry Wright. Virgie was the 9th of 14 children all preceding her in death.

 Survivors: daughter, Ginger Lewis and husband W.A. of Santo; son, Ronald Leatherman and wife, Kay of Hutto; daughter-in-law, Cathy Leatherman of Arlington; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

 Pallbearers will be, Jim Burkhalter, Glen Leatherman, Scott McCoy, Michael Simon, Andy Snider, and Michael Wright.
