Carolyn Ragle Peterson, 75, passed away Monday, March 1, 2010, at her home in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: Dicey Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Carolyn Lee Ragle was born Nov. 11, 1934, in Fort Worth, daughter of the late Lee W. and Jettie Pearson Ragle. She graduated with the class of 1953 from Arlington Heights High School and the class of 1957 from TCU with a B.A. degree and made her career as an executive assistant with a local distributor. Growing up, she loved to go to the family ranch in Parker County and tend to her horses; her favorite was Prince. Carolyn had many hobbies, including playing bridge, sewing and reading. She also had a love for music and traveled extensively. She loved all outdoor activities. Carolyn was a longtime member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Fort Worth and was the Flower Guild chairperson for many years. Carolyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Ann Peterson Horne, in 2003; and her parents. Survivors: Son, Kelly Peterson and wife, Karen, of Arlington; grandsons, Kelly Peterson Jr. of Crowley and Jason Teames and wife, Megan, and Clinton Teames, both of Arlington; sister, Maxine Ragle Brooks of Fort Worth; niece and nephews, Vivian, Billy and Steve Brooks; and a host of loving friends.
