Betty Lou Riley

Betty Lou Riley, 82, passed away Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Saturday in Aledo-Brown Cemetery, Aledo. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford. Betty Lou Riley was born Nov. 20, 1927, in Gainesville. She married Glen Edwin Riley in Camp Lejeune, N.C., on May 27, 1946, and began their life together. Betty was a resident of Weatherford since 1983. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Onil Norris Whitmire; and brother, S.B. Whitmire. Survivors: Husband of 63 years, Glen Riley of Weatherford; son, Dwight Riley and wife, Debbie, of Poetry; daughter, Sheila Stubblefield and husband, Jens, of Garland; grandchildren, Larsen Stubblefield of Garland, Neil Stubblefield of Rockwall, and Guenevere Cueva and husband, Sam, of Pflugerville; cousins, Mary Elizabeth Eastman and Homer Norris, both of Aledo; and many other loving cousins and friends.
