Vance Ray Reeder

Vance Ray Reeder, 85, died Monday, December 14, 2009. Born in Lorraine, Texas, Mr. Reeder resided in Weatherford for 80 years. He was employed at General Dynamics, now Lockheed-Martin, for 39 years. Mr. Reeder was a deacon and beloved member of North Side Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Cary Reeder; his 5 brothers, Clifford, Keith, Farrell, Carl and Glynn Reeder and his wife of 55 years, Dorothy Brinkley Reeder.Mr. Reeder is survived by son Stephen and wife, Patricia, of Weatherford; son Philip and wife, Janis, of Round Rock; grandchildren, Naomi Kirkpatrick of Mountain View, California, Griffin Reeder, of Round Rock, James Hettinger of Arlington and Haley Randolph of Weatherford; and many other relatives and friends.
