Charlie Reynolds

Charlie Reynolds, 80, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2009 in Fort Worth. Charles Albert Reynolds was born March 27, 1929 in Hereford, the eldest of three children of Charlie Albert and Mary Grace Conaway Reynolds. He had been a resident of Weatherford for nearly 7 years. Charlie graduated from Levelland High School and married Mary Lou Eggleston on August 26, 1949. He was a member of Willow Park Baptist Church. Charlie liked to work with guns and he collected knives. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Shirl Don Reynolds in 2002 and Randall Craig Reynolds in 1990. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Lou Reynolds; grandchildren, Tammy O'Connell and husband, Joel and Dale Reynolds and wife, Heather, both of Fort Worth; great-grandchildren, Kayley, Kylie, Kelsey, Kourtney, Kennedi, Travis and Oliver; brother, Jack Reynolds of Spur; sister, Frances Sylvester and husband, Ken of Lubbock; special friends, Carol Traylor of Arlington and Sheri Fergason and husband, Luke of Weatherford; one niece; and numerous nephews. In lieu of usual remembrances, the Reynolds Family requests memorials in Charlie's name to a charity or church of choice.
