AZLE -- Ellen Jo Glover, 79, passed away from this world to be with her Lord on Friday, Oct. 2, 2009. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Azle Church of Christ, 336 Northwest Pkwy, Azle. Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery, Azle. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home, 105 Denver Trail, Azle. Ellen Jo Glover was born Sept. 16, 1930, to E H and Pauline McCustion Hamilton of Electra. Ellen graduated Vernon High School in 1948. She married Charles L. Glover on July 17, 1948, in a double-ring ceremony with her sister, Dorothy Hamilton to Charles Glover's brother, Wesley Glover. Ellen attented Eastern New Mexico University and received a master's degree in education which she used to teach in the Muleshoe ISD for many years. She was an active member in the Muleshoe Church of Christ, where she went on many campaigns around the world. The family moved to Azle in 1988 where Ellen continued her work in the church. Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Glover, and sisters, Dorothy Glover and Nancy Butler. Survivors: Brother, Jack Hamilton of Athens; sons, Steve Glover and wife, Mary, of Fort Worth, Michael Glover and wife, Tammy, of Albany; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Mica, Bonnie and Caleb; six great-grandchildren.
