Craig Daulong, 54, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, in White Settlement. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, 401 N. Main Street, Springtown. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home. Craig Stevens Daulong was born Nov. 25, 1954, in Fabens. He was the son of Donald Otho Daulong and Mary Tauna Rhae Reeves, who predeceased him. Craig was a 1972 graduate of Foothill High School in Bakersfield, Calif. He was married and divorced twice, first to Gaylene Holladay in 1972 in Bakersfield, Calif., and to Clella Chilton in 1984 in Austin. Craig served in the Marines from March 1977 through March 1981, stationed in Camp Lejune, N.C., and Okinawa, Japan, with one-year deployment on the LLST Spiegel Grove. He was passionate about all things martial arts. As a young man, he taught at the National Chinese Kempo Karate School of Self Defense in Phoenix, Ariz. Craig held blackbelts in northern praying mantis, shorin ryu, judo and aikido. For several years he worked for the Buddhist Progress Society and taught at the Fo Kwan Shang Temple (Buddha's Mountain of Light) in Dallas. As a plumber, Craig was most recently employed by the Tarrant County College District and had previously worked at the former University of Texas at Austin Balcones Research Center. Survivors: Sisters and brother, Dee Dee King and husband, Ricky, of Rosharon, Tauna Renee Daulong of Austin and Gary Sidney Daulong of Alabama; nieces and their families, Katrina King Adams and husband, Lance, children, Kaysi and Levi, of Caddo, and Jenifer King Points and husband, Chad, of Pearland and children, Ethan, Carson and Keaton; and Dorothy Daulong (Donald) of Springtown.
