Florence Elizabeth Antus

Florence Antus, 88, died Saturday, July 18, 2009 at her home in Azle, Texas.

Florence was born October 8, 1920 in Loyalhanna, Pennsylvania to Edward and Anna Hruby Shaffer. She had lived in the Azle area since March of this year. Florence and her husband, Frank had been married 67 years as of June 20, 2009. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; great-grandson, Donald Antus; sisters, Clara Nicely, Janet Monroe; brothers, William ,Richard and Edward Shaffer. 

Florence is survived by her loving husband, Frank Antus; children, Richard Antus and wife, Norma, Rose Phillips and husband, John, and Ronald Antus and wife, Judy; sisters, Louise Pollock, Betty Ireland, Ruth Burley, Grace Kaufman, Dorothy Clouse and Patricia Yearty; ten grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who all loved her and will miss her.
