Ola Mae Stokes, 82, passed away Friday, July 17, 2009 in Weatherford. Services: 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 21, in White's Azle Chapel. Interment: Jaybird Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at White's Azle Funeral Home.Ola Mae Stokes was born September 23, 1926 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Amos and Ethel Neighbors Trotter.She was a longtime resident of Reno and a member of the Walnut Creek Baptist Church for many years. Ola Mae was an avid seamstress.She dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Ola Mae was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.Survivors: loving husband, J. B. Stokes; sons, Gary Joe Stokes and wife, Jani of Hurst, Jerry Don Stokes and wife, Ann of Reno; daughters, Sue Hobbs of Eastland and Linda Diane Obel and husband, Lee of Briar; brothers, Garland Trotter of Abilene, and M. C. Trotter of Springtown; sister, Billie Faye Helm of Azle; 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
