Troy W. Geary

Troy Geary,74, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather died Friday, July 10, 2009 at his home in Weatherford surrounded by his family. A Memorial Service was held on Monday, July 13, at the Solid Rock Bible Church in Reno.Mr Geary was born December 7, 1934 in McKinney. He married Jackie Jackson on October 10, 1952, they lived in Azle, where they raised their four children and became grandparents. Jackie passed away in January of 1995.Mr. Geary was lucky enough to find love again with Kay Tillman. They married February 10, 2001. They lived in Weatherford where he was honored to become the step-father of four children, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Troy enjoyed many hobbies in his life, including driving race cars, hunting, fishing, horseback riding and his family.Mr. Geary is preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Geary; grandsons, Shan Geary and Ryan Roush; granddaughter, Sarah Roush and great-granddaughter, Lily Babb.Survivors include his wife of 8 years, Kay Geary; sons,Derrell Geary and wife, Martha of Azle, Kenneth Geary and wife, Gwen of Azle, Jackie Geary and girlfriend, Margaret Henson of Azle; daughter, Kerri Roush and husband, Jason of Yukon, Okla.; extended children, Wayne Tillman and wife, Phyllis, Lynn Tillman and wife, Lorrie, Tammie Harding and husband, Steve, Jatona Sucamele and husband, Joey; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends that will miss him very much.
