M. A. Niblett

M. A. "Tex" Niblett, 86, died Thursday, June 4, 2009 in Fort Worth. Memorial Service: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 9 in White's Azle Chapel. Tex was born February 15, 1923 in Poolville to John and Josie Bean Niblett. He was a proud 52 year member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Tex was also a past president of the Federation of Lineman Electricians and was a retired Journeyman Wireman from Local Union 569 in San Diego, Calif. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Armida (Toni) Martinez. Survivors include his wife, Lynda Niblett of Azle; sons, J. R. Niblett and wife, Carolyn of Westcliff, Colo., Ray H. Niblett and wife, Cecelia of ElPaso, Douglas E. Niblett and wife, Deborah of Glendale, Ariz., Frank E. Niblett and wife, JoEllen of Phoenix, Ariz.,Paul W. Niblett and wife, Tonya of Chandler, Ariz.,Floyd A. Niblett and wife, Nancy of Gilbert, Ariz.; daughter, Lydia Gamage of San Antonio; 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and sister, Nona Thompson of Boyd.
