WEATHERFORD -- Barbara Weaver Lamb, 66, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009, in Weatherford. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday at White's Funeral Chapel, 401 N. Main St., Springtown. Burial: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Barbara Nell Weaver Lamb was born June 3, 1942, in Parker County, daughter of the late John Tolbert and Nellie Elizabeth Linehan Weaver. Barbara loved crafts and she lovingly created handmade quilts and made certain that each of her grandchildren had one of their own. She was very talented and was a blessing to everyone she knew. Barbara enjoyed crocheting but was particularly fond of computer games. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Watauga and a graduate of Birdville High School. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Tyler Lamb; and a brother, George Weaver. Survivors: Sons, Richard A. Lamb and wife, Vicki, Jerry Lamb and wife, Karry, and Carl Lamb and wife, Christina; grandchildren, Jackie and husband, Ronnie, Dustin, Catherine and husband, Michael, Brittany, Brandi, Hollie, Crysta, Cayde-Jack, and Carly Jo; great-grandsons, Tristen and Brayden; brother, Howard Weaver and wife, Melba; sister-in-law, Johnnie Weaver; ex-husband, Richard Lamb; uncles, Fred Linehan and Bill Linehan; aunt, Winnie Nichols; numerous nieces and nephews; a host of loving family and friends; and best friend, Chico, Barbara's devoted dog.
