At the age of 89, Nellie Cascyle Thurston Bagwell, devoted wife, mother,grandmother and great-grandmother went home to her Lord and Savior, onWednesday, May 13, 2009. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Saturday in Memory Gardens of the ValleyMemorial Park, 5600 Mineral Wells Highway, Weatherford. Visitation:6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Avenue,Weatherford. Nellie was born Nov. 29, 1919, in Downsville, La., daughter of thelate Humble and Erie Caulk Thurston. She was a member of HarmonyBaptist Church and after moving to Holland Lake Nursing Center, sheenjoyed the South Main Church of Christ ministries as well aslistening to the many Bible studies on her radio. Cascyle was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dan Bagwell;eldest son, Tony Bagwell; daughter-in-law, Kyle Bagwell; grandson,Jimmy Godi; and her loving sister and brothers. The Bagwell family would like to express their deepest gratitude toHolland Lake Nursing Center of Weatherford and Alpha Omega Hospicefor the loving care and compassion given to Mrs. Bagwell.
